I take 1000mg of Biaxin every day
I take 750mg of flagyl 3 days a week (consecutive)

I take the flagyl on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Sundays are rough some weeks.

BTw: I also take Malarone 3 days a week.

Good Luck

Hi Tony,

Me again. We are very similar.

I have been on the biaxin for 2 weeks now. Didnt notice any major herx really, but feeling good. I am going to increase my dose from 300mg rifampin to 600mg which is normal and what is on my script. My doctor only started me on one tablet, and said to stay on that, but given the script says two I'm going to up it.

We are also discussing flagyl when I go back in 2 weeks. I think we will keep it going along with the biaxin. Not sure about the rifampin, but I am keen to keep that up too as I am hoping it will knock down my anxiety.

How do you know when its time to stop abx all together??

Kelly
