Anyone else have this?

If it was happening in my right arm I wouldn't be so worried, but it's happening in my left arm, near the shoulder area. I doubt it's something serious, because I just had a cardiologist appointment a week or two ago and everything was fine. But I wish it would just go away...

It's just this achey dull pain in my shoulder/upper arm area that comes and goes every few minutes. It's been happening now for around an hour or two. PS - I'm only 24.

The pain also seems to get worse/happen more if I rub on the area... I guess that wouldn't happen if it was a heart attack.

Anyone else get this too? [confused]

Left arm/shoulder pain is my number one area for pain. Hurts to touch, also radiates...sometimes all of the way down to my hand. Sorry to hear you're hurting.

I used to get this type of pain a lot. It's pretty much gone since being on antibiotics for a while.

I have had every nasty type of arm, armpit, shoulder, forearm and wrist pain one would care to contemplate. It has actually been more frightening than painful. That isn't to say that it hasn't in the past been extremely uncomfortable, because it has.

I think that Lyme disease hypersensitizes the nervous system. A lot of people are probably reading this saying "yeah, duh, its called "Neurological Involvement" and its one of the hallmarks of the disease.

You can't really appreciate it until you've been through it though. The arm stuff is disturbing. Since I've started on Mepron and Antibiotics I have noticed a dramatic lessening of pain all over my body, including and especially in my lower back.

In fact, that's how I got here, I thought it was all coming from my spine. But then it did seem a bit wierd that my cheek was "tugging", my skin was burning, etc., etc., etc.

Anyway, if you are having this disease and if it is causing you arm problems, best wishes and good luck to you. Accept that your arm hurts and try not to be frightened. Take every second that you feel good and appreciate it.
