I was wondering if anyone else got drenching sweats after injecting Bicillin? I am on my 3rd shot and after the last 2 I break out into drenching sweats about 30 minutes after the injection. I am 99% sure I am not allergic as I have had allergy blood work done and I am fine. No other symptoms besides a sore butt.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Melissa

Hi Merry [Smile]

I've gotten that on occasion when I was on bicillin. I don't think it was every time I did a shot, but it did occur.

Since i've been sick I tend to have sweating spells. Bicillin hasn't made it better or worse.

If you always sweat right after, maybe it is your body's response to the stress of getting the shot and anticipating pain and or herx later. Many people sweat in response to stress. That's the only thing that I can think of.

that happened to me the second shot I had. I haven't had any problems since. Amanda
