Current daily meds: Lovenox 80mg injection, 200 mg doxycline, Tenormin, Valium, Liver Detox and Probiotic Vitamins. Flushing picc to maintain with heparin and saline.
Hi! I am writing because I just cannot figure out why some days my brain is so perfectly clear and other days I am so FOGGY I can hardly stand to drive or talk to people.
I have been on doxy and iv cefapime. Right now I am back on doxy 200 mg, day 5. YESTERDAY, I felt so awesome I thought I was going back to work in a month!
Today, my BRAIN IS SO FOGGY and I have so much pain in my back. chest pain, severe abdominal blaoting, and ear pressure. I have not eaten anything differently or done anything differently. Sometimes I wonder if my heparin flush causes this. I don't feel good after I flush my picc with heparin. I feel like I will pass out in the shower.
Why the EXTREMELY different days? Why am I so sick today and was FEELING GREAT yesterday?
When will this go away? I am so sick of this. It has been two years of utter agony. I get sick and brain fogged in almost everyone's house except my own.
Is there ANYTHING you have found clears your brain fog so you can work and drive?
Sincere Thanks, Jenny

Sorry Jenny, I don't know how your meds would affect brain function except that abx will cause herxing if you have lyme and that may be the cause of brain fog for some of us.
Die off is a major cause of symptoms. My guess is that the reason you feel bad on some days and not others is that your body may be having some difficulty keeping up with the toxins. I would suggest upping your detox support. Some of us need a LOT of support.
Rather than type my answers again, here is a link to a thread on brain fog.
