After searching and searching I see a lot of people go online for herbs and supplements like cat's claw and such. Does anyone use GNC for milk thistle/garlic extract etc? I hear a lot of negative things about chain stores like that . I just wanted input being its convenient for me to go to (6 mins away) Thanks

There is no reason to use them in my opinion. vitacost has better products at 1/3rd the cost in most cases.

GNC is not very well respected in the industry.
There are lots of good online vendors like
iherb.com
(google for a discount coupon), ferns they are helpful and will even try and order supplements for you they do not carry and often have sales. Last time I talked to them they had a discounted chi machine that was a show room sample for a very reasonable price if anyone needs a chi machine.
because I have to buy a lot of costly resveratrol and if you put in an order of anything you want mix and match and it is over $200. they give you 20% off. They carry Pure Encapsulations which is a brand I like.
Buying online I get better prices then say at Whole Foods. I take a lot of medicinal mushrooms and the prices online are much better then if I pay normal retail prices.

To me its hit and miss... Vitamin World, GNC, Walgreen drugs, Ive used them all. Go with what works at a decent price. On line works well too and Ive gone that route, but it sure is nice when you can buy local and get the product the same day.
