Clindamycin is normally taken with Quinine Sulphate for babesia

Mepron is always taken with a macrolide (Ketek, Zithromax)

I take Clindamycin 1500mg a day in divided dosages with Quinine Sulphate 3 x 325mg - You MUST take huge amounts of probiotics with clindamycin - I personally take probiotic drinks, pills and rectal refloridization once a week as it has a high c diff rate. All will be fine as long as you follow high dosage pro biotics

Some docs dose it incorrectly and do not give you the correct pro biotic guidelines - taken correctly its EXCELLENT

I cleared my babesia with clindamycin and quinine. Finished it off with artemsisinin and zith.

Be sure to take sacchromyces boulardi while on the clindamycin, as you are at greater risk for c.diff while on it.

You DON'T WANT c.diff !!

Perhaps change the heading to the correct spelling Clindamycin as some here may not reconise what you are posting

I was allergic to zith, so my doc cleared my babs with Bactrim DS twice per day and artimesinin added after 1 month on Bactrim.

I took the artimesinin in a pulsed fashion, meaning Friday through Sunday of each week. Those days were chosen because I noticed a 7-day sick cycle that started on Saturday a.m. and ended on Sunday p.m. You want to take the artimesinin before the sick time starts and take it until sick time ends.

It takes longer to get rid of babs with Bactrim (compared to mepron and zith), but other than yeast problems occasionally, it was easy to handle and not expensive.

Is there a babs treatment that doesn't totally destroy the bacteria in your gut?

With Zithromax, with just one pill I can feel my gut totally becoming dysfunctional and extremely constipated.

Last time I started Zithromax I stopped after the first dosage due to the amount of problems it caused me.

It took over a month of daily probiotics and eating mostly sugar/carb free to get my gut functional again.
