Ok i recently starting using my tricare coverage cause my meidcal bills are so sky high. We basically just can't afford it right now. So we know when I went into the army hospital the pa said ok im not sure what to do with you but ill call you in 2 days.
She called me in 2 days and said as we know the cdc guidlines said 28 days of doxy and the rifampin I should of never taken. She said I am cured of the lyme cause I have enough antibiotics. lol just when I was starting to feel better alittle.
Refferred me to a neurologist for the brian fog and other neuro symtoms I still have. But as Im reading by the cdc guidlines i have had lyme 3 years b4 it was dxed and since i have all the neuro symtoms shouldn't if they wanna go by the guidlines give the iv. Should I throw a fit or just wait it out till we can afford the llmd.
I was ordered to stop all abx because I have had enough. My husband just doesn't understand the contraversy and wants me to follow there treatment course. Which I'm sure when all is said and done there gonna tell me I had cfs and fibro so what should I do...

You should immediately find a physician that specializes in Lyme Disease and associated diseases (Co-infections). You should also go to ilads.org, then on the left hand side of the screen, you'll see "guidelines" on the panel list. Go there, then read "Digagnostic Hints And such" -- download it, read through it. Print it if you can. That will educate you thoroughly.
E-mail me at [email protected] and I'll give you some names of people within your local state. Tell me what state you live in when you mail me.
-------------------- I am not a physician, so do your own research to confirm any ideas given and then speak with a health care provider you trust.
