question:

does glycine work synergistically with antibiotics?

for the past 2 nights i have taken glycine, and both nights
immediately after taking it the bartonella rashes on my abdomen (which usually come out when i am herxing) were wider and darker than normal and i have had bad anxiety.

also, there is at least one new rash/orangeish vertical line that i have never seen before

i don't get it.

bartonella, lyme, etc? since 8/04

I never noticed any problems with glycine and abx before. I hope someone else answers your question for you. I have bart too. I take glycine sometimes for sleep issues.

Hi OConnor800,

Recently I've been taking large doses of glycine along with taurine on an empty stomach and before bed. I'm experimenting with it for brain issues and sleep.I am also on oral ABX.

It is very possible that I still have Bart. I haven't noticed any stepped up herx or anything related to it in conjunction with the glycine.

So I'm afraid I don't have any answers. Just weighing in on my experience.
