Hi Everyone,

I am not on abx at the present time.
However,I have been battling yeast for a very long time.
I have just completed a 21 day course of Diflucan prescribed by my llmd, and have been following the candida diet, although not religiously, for the past few years.

My llmd recommends probiotics like culturelle and sacromicis boulardi (spelling?) for GI yeast.

What do you consider to be the most potent and effective probiotics?

Thank you!

dj,

Have you ever taken Prescript Assist? I just bought that because in Dr. B's guidelines he recommends it. So I thought I would add it to my collection of probiotics.

It is soil based (does not need refrig.) and not sure what the difference is in relationship to the standard high culture/high strain refrigerated kind.

Any thoughts?

I just ordered this probiotic...

http://www.drcolbert.com/product_info.php?products_id=213

I have also been on VSL3....450 bilion units of bacteria per sachet...or 112 billion per capsule.

Some like others such as ThreeLac.

I also enjoy using have found that Living Streams spray on probiotic is a very good product; http://www.liquidprobiotics.com/

Good luck.....

I like Theralac and my new-found one... Ultimate Flora. Both are WAY better than PB8.

You can get Ultimate Flora at Vitacost at 1/2 the normal cost.
