I e-mailed Byron. He is still at the clinic and is not expected to go home until Christmas or so. Says he feels as bad as before he went although the doctor thinks he is getting better.

P.S. I was at the clinic last week and they would not let me see him due to privacy laws.

I hope Byron starts to feel better. He has been working very hard to get better for a long time.

I am surprised the clinic would not let you at least leave Byron a note or something.

Hiker did you like the clinic?

Byron posted on the bart thread today so he is around.

I've been wondering about Byron too.

Hiker, how long were you at the clinic?

I was at the clinic for a 3 day evaluation and I will simply say I was horrified at their disorganization--got my name wrong several times on important lab tests and I was not impressed with the doctor. The doctor is very knowledgeable, but I felt, very manipulative.

I am not allowed to get my lab tets until I have a phone conference with her which is not until 10 weeks after my appointment!! I am not allowed to know her total protocol unless I sign on for treatment. I requested the labs in advance so I could have an intelligent list of questions ready to go and they will not send them when they are ready, so I wait until Dec. 23.

I will say that I talked with many people in wheelchairs at the clinic who felt they were being helped.

I do not want to bash this doctor as this doctor has helped some, but this is not the right LLMD for me.

Very very expensive, too. I might as well have gone to Germany--LOL (and may just do so).

Byron is only 17 and therefore is not able to give his consent for me to see him. I did not realize he was so young.

Hey guys, I am actually 20 now.

I havn't given any updates for a while just because we have not run any tests lately...

I can say that all my blood work is looking terriffic (still room for improvement) and I would say half of my symptoms are either better or gone.

My main struggle now is my chronic nausea, parasthesias, muscle tightness, insomnia, and some headache.
