I know air hunger is a classical babesia symptom.

But can it also be seen in a bartonella infection?

No is lyme and babs...

BART has diferent symtoms. What do you feel ...If you feel like can not breath and chocking that is BART!!!BART END LYME does that. But preassure in the chest when you lie in bed is babs...and lyme..FUNNY how they combine and give you all this.

I have done some bigg killing a babs a while ago without knowing what I was killing that clearly cleaned my chest.SO BART came up.IT was difernt.THAN when bart whent down , babs slightly came up -slightly as it was just a few left in my head and my feet.

So I KNOW what it feels.LEt me know what do you feel and I will helpd you.Be aware that while you kill them , they take turn several times until you really clear the most of the load at least from your lungs and would be left to your head and feet.

LUNGS and heart is hard to deal with .Once you clear your chest is much more managebale.BUt only when you verify with muscle testing or using a biotensor you will know for sure which one is which.

I have them all and I know how it feels...

If you have air hunger it is Babesia, a lot of people will have Lyme, Bart & Babesia and when you kill bart babesia will always rear its head if you have it.

Other clear signs of babesia are petechiea (little red blood spots) vivid dreams, Depression, emotional instability - all of which cycle normally every 3 weeks and will get worse when initially treating.

Shortness of breath can be related to many things.

Babesia is one.

It is listed as a Bartonella symptom as well as Lyme too.

Also POTs can cause this as well as adrenal fatigue.

Look for other symptoms under each infection to help you pin point

What infection may be causing your issues.

Like air hunger and drenching night sweats for babesia.

Hugs,

Geneal

Is air hunger the same thing as shortness of breath?

Whatever it's called, it usually happens at bedtime. It's as if I can't fill my lungs completely and it makes me take many shallow breaths.

It feels a lot like an anxiety attack symptom, but I know it's not anxiety.

************

Rianna:

I thought petechiea was only seen in bartonella. I have more and more of those little red dots, all over my body.

I tested negative for both babesia and bartonella, but my LLMD says I have bart because of some of my symptoms.

Thanks for your replies!

Julie

I believe that with "air hunger" your lungs inflate/deflate properly, but you get the feeling that you are having trouble taking in enough air.

You can hyperventilate during a panic attack caused by Lyme. I believe that feels like you're suffocating & leads to gasping for air. Your heart generally starts pounding at the same time.

I think with Bartonella, shortness of breath would feel like you were just running around too much & need to breath really fast & deeply, but still feel like you are exchanging air.

I'm not sure if there could also be a neurological problem that could cause it when you lay down. POTS? Dysautonomia?

I don't know if that makes any sense, but that's how I think of it.

[Smile]

PS- You can test negative & still have Babesia also. Do you have problems with your appetite, nausea, periodic drenching night sweats?

I think Bartonella can make you sweat too but milder, not drenching, kind of just an annoying sticky icky sweat.

If I have babesia as well--hope not [Frown] --mild and occasional air hunger seems to be my only symptom.

Cause I can't remember the last time I ran a fever, I never had night sweats or the chills, my appetite is fine, and I only got nausea if I took doxy on an empty stomach.

What a puzzle this is, trying to figure out what co-infections you have!!!
