better yet, specialist saw NO EARLY DIABETES RETINOPATHY in my eye today as she did ONE year ago!!! yippee! ********************
last year meant the beginning of my losing my eyesight!!
she said this will go back/forth so to continue working on KEEPING MY A1C BELOW 7.0 !!! and blood sugars in 140 range, etc. ****************************

steve, hiker, terry, tori & boys, & charlie,
thanks for ALL your encouraging words; they were great to hear.
here it was after 3 pm and she was running so far behind, she hadn't had lunch yet!!
i sat in my wonderfully dark room 1 hr. DILATED; i went to find an RN to say I'D BE FORGOTTEN! never had anyone stuck their head in the door and told me they were running late.
my poor hubby came along to drive me home due to eyes being dilated, and with his bad rolling-hand tremors...2 hrs. in waiting room was driving him up wall, and NO ONE told them dr. was running late either.
yes, i know of quite a few folks who have lost their sight due to diabetes, and do NOT want to me among them.
I'D BE LOST IF I COULDN'T COME HERE AND DO REGULAR EMAIL WITH FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND SUPPORT GROUP FOLKS
PLUS ALL MY DC EMAILS and newspaper feedbacks!!
again, thank you all my friends for helping me CELEBRATE MY GOOD NEWS!!
