I've heard that plaquenil is pretty weak as a cyst buster. I was using it to help Biaxin hit the Bb harder.

I have also heard other people bring up Amantadine. I am not sure about how toxic it is, or the side effects, etc.....I just know there are people that use it to help their antibiotics penetrate better.
I have heard it can be sort of toxic however to the body...so I guess it's up to you. Plaquenil was a "dirty drug" for me too....lots of side effects.
Good luck.

Amantadine is the alternative. It's an antiviral medication, however it's generally lost effectiveness for it's original purpose. It works very similar to Plaquenil in terms of helping antibiotics like Biaxen and Zithromax penetrate tissues and cells.
