Could somebody please tell me how to treat Bart?

I think I saw somewhere in here that Bart should be treated first or you won't improve.

I also saw a great explination about bart but I can't find either post now.

Nicoles Mom,

I am about to treat for bart and its usually a combo therapy. Some drs. like zith and rifampin.

I did a search and there are alot of threads on it. Here are a few:

http://flash.lymenet.org/scripts/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=069592

If you do a search and enter "bartonella" you should come up with alot of information.

Hope this helps a little.

I am being treated for Bart/Lyme. Right now I am on Azithromycin and Omnicef for the next two months. I have been being treated since August. Starting in January the doc said he would probably switch the meds to a different one. (Rifamin?)
What are your biggest problems with Bart?

Anne,

I have just started Rifampin and Cat's Claw this weekend for what my dr. believes could be bart symptoms. They seem to come and go.

Vision difficulties
Heart Palps
Sore feet/soles/instep
Lymph nodes underarms sore/tender
Stiff neck/soreness

Here is a thread that discusses bart's symptoms.
