Alright. Sometimes it feels like someone has taken hold of my spinal chord and is squeezing it as tight as they can. Nothing works to relieve the pain - and people look at me like I'm an idiot when I tell them what's going on.

Anyone else experience this?

Yes! mine starts as slicing sensation in my whole spine then as it gets worse it is like it is also being squeezed.

I think mine is coming from babs. A moist heat heating pad gives me a little relief.

I am sorry you have this horrible symptom too. I hope it gets better soon. [group hug]

They tried dry and wet heat in the hospital... It didn't touch the pain. Neither did IV pain meds.

I am so sorry AP [group hug]

did they try muscle relaxers? or one of the nerve pain meds like lyrica?

Maybe you need to see a pain specailist to figure out what kinda pain you have so that they can figure out how to treat it?

I hope you get relief soon. [group hug]

I'm on Lyrica, and allergic to most muscle relaxers... I've tried magnesium oil, because it works for my legs, but there's just no relief.

I have recurring encephalitis and am afraid that it may be a new symptom related to it. [Frown]

do some research on it-very non invasive techniqe to get the cerebral spinal fluid flowing. If you decide to try it-find an experienced practioner or Osteopathic Doctor.

When my wife has a long Rife session or was using MMS, her spine felt like it was breaking. After she cleared the dead bacteria she returns to normal.

In her case, the pain means bacteria are either being killed or she has dead bacteria yet to be cleared out.

I am not sure if that is the case for everyone.

Regarding the back and spine. Interesting> i just started PT again and very reluctantly. I told my PT doc that well In the past any manipulations or any physical therapy around my spine and ecs low back created surges and relapse symptoms of my Lyme and i got very sick feeling and fatigued and felt just horrible all over.
There is a definate connection and even when i did very slow and gentle PT on my back and I had one guy who did nothing but HIP Stetches but it opened up the back area and low back of course. The contracting and compressing of the low back area again no matter how small put me into that state again. It hits a day afterward and then i am bedridden or in worse pain and fatigue for days and days. So> it sure makes it hard.. If I do any physical things it has to be swimming or slow walking and not much in the way of Movement. Or my own stretching which I know how to do more things like in legs or away from back..
In turn I have stiff back and I know its not good.. but..What can I do? for now.
