I think because my LLMD wanted to save me money and because my ins.covers MDL, he used MDL to test for Bart. and Myco. by PCR.
Igenex tested positive for Lyme, Babs., and Ehlichia.
MDL tested negative for Bartonella and Mycoplasma.
My question is, is testing at MDL by PCR sufficient for Bart./Myco, or should he have used Igenex.

My Mycoplasma turned up negative by PCR, but positive by ELISA through MDL.
I haven't tested for Mycoplasma through Igenex.

I don't think Igenex can test for mycoplasma.
A highly regarded NJ LLMD uses MDL all the time for his mycoplasma testing.
