jentytib~ I'm not familiar with that reference range. Those numbers don't look hugely elevated. Perhaps your LLMD is prescribing the valtrex to be on the safe side.
I just (today) got my EBV titer results. IgG 1:2560....which is high. I'm also on acyclovir (the active ingredient in valtrex). Perhaps I'm not on a high enough dose.
Best, Timaca

Usually EBV goes along with Lyme. It seems that lyme awakens the virus. The valtrex is to keep it under control.
Did you ever have mono? I'm on valtrex 3x's a day and I'm not sure for how long.
When I had the test I actually was having an active episode and my levels where very high.
I haven't had any problems with valtrex but I don't think I can tell a herx from that or from my lyme meds anymore. good luck!
