Les Stroud of the popular television program Survivor Man warned viewers of the dangers of Lyme Disease on the latest episode about surviving in the Sierra Nevada wilderness. I kind of wonder if he has Lyme Disease or maybe he knows someone who does. Regardless, it was awesome that he brought it up on such a popular show.

DaveNJ: I'm pretty sure it was during the beginning when he mentioned it. Then afterwards he mentioned ticks two or three more times.
I thought it was curious how he brought it up even though there is still little recognition that Lyme disease is prevalent in the western part of the country as well.
