Dare I say, I'm starting to feel better .. however, I have this weird symptom.. Its almost like I'm about to be developing a bad cough but it never does.. In the back of my throat, it feels like there is a little mucus or something there.. and my chest feels tight when I breathe in. I noticed it yesterday when I decided to go out.. I went to best buy and I almost felt like I was having an asthma attack ( i dont have asthma)... so tight.. could this be related to any of lyme, babs, bart or my meds- doxy, plaquenil, rifampin

hezzer,

You may want to check with your doctor on your concerns.

But in the beginning (to this day) have phlem in my throat.

Also, I had shortness of breath and difficulty breathing quite often, just if I had asthma, which I didnt.

It cleared up after a while taking antibiotics.

If you've been on abx for a while you could be developing a yeast issue - I get that mucus feeling in the back of my throat when the yeast is acting up. Do you have any white on the back of your tongue?

YES, but usually if your are not taking a good quality high culture / high strain probiotic from either your LLMD or heathfood store or an antifungal to kill yeast.

A good OTC brand is Renew life CRITICAL CARE, 50 billion/10 strain, or IFLORA professional, 20 billion/15 strain from your doctor.

And, you can get yeast if you are eating carbs and sugar. Rule of thumb while on abx is LOW CARBS/LOW SUGAR.

Also you can take an herbal antifungal some of which are Olive Leaf Extract, Oregano, Grape Fruit Seed, etc. I personally take Oregamax (OTC) 2x day in addition to my probiotics.

Usually you have signs of yeast such as white tongue, yeast infections in that "special area", burning tongue or backside, stomach aches, etc. You can do a search on this site, plug in keyword, YEAST and get lots of information about it.

Tight chest or asthma type symptoms sound like babs.
