Hi everyone. If you listen to Dr. Marshall and Dr. Fy you notice the differences in opinions regarding Vitamin D3 therapy and magnesium as well.> What do we believe or go by>?> This part if very frustrating to me.. How about you???

i won't listen to another sue vogan talk show where she was the rudest to the ILADS director and kept ambushing him the entire time,
and then at end to say he'd be back in 2 wks. to talk again! so she could say what she didn't on the night i listened!

Deb, I've PMd you, but I don't think you looked, or maybe you did...I don't know.
My personal opinion, the Marshall Protocol is dangerous.
There were several people in the local support group who tried it. Yes...try that in ARIZONA. Talk about being a prisoner in your own home!
They did not improve. Now they are trying to get their vitamin D levels up.

For what it is worth, I respect both of their opinions on D and bugs! Yes, they treat the whole D thing differently, for sure.
I still have not figured out the D issues, but I have been on the MP for 25 months and have made incredible progress. The healing has been amazing; but I do eat very small amounts of D, and I don't wear sunglasses that frequently when outside.
There is still much to be learned about these complex issues. In the meantime, I am so glad doctors Marshall and Fry are doing their thing!

I agree that the more docs out there trying the better. I just wish that there was not such opposite opinions on something so important .. The D is not just a vitamin they both agree.. But one says it completley shuts down your immune system and its ability to kill off the bacterias etc and the other says you have to supplement it and get it up high and even higher than normal ranges to get better.. I myself am taking it and am up to 5000 iu a day and my levels are increasing. WHen I listen to marshalls protocol specs and him talk I feel like i am sabatoging myself or not?? I would like to hear this one resolved. I know for sure that marshall says now that he is not sure that the sun is an issue at all and that it may not make the same type of D that they are talkiing about that that is not the bigger issue at all.. But.. it is an interesting subject and other things are parallel but not this one... Even on this post one of you says its dangerous and have heard bad things and one person says they have done so extremely well on it.. So far I am not convinced by the Marshall protocol but I would like to hear more scientific reasons for it..
