1. What antibiotics might be best for a 7-year-old boy who was just tested positive?

2. What's a REAL dosage & length of time that antibiotics should be given?

I'M NEW TO ALL OF THIS. ANY and ALL info will help!!

My son was just bitten, and Dr. Jones gave him three months of Minocycline and Zithromax. It's been just over one week and he is doing well.

Treatment needs to last 3 months past the resolution of all symptoms.

As for the question of what drugs are to be used and at what dosages--I would direct you to the treatment guidelines of Dr. Joseph Burrascano and the ILADS (ilads.org). Do a search here to learn about the former.
