has anyone had accute infections in the intestines?
I have on a yearly basis suddenly woken in extreme pain to where I am passing out and my children or someone around has to call 911 and i am wisked off to the ER> I can not remember how I got there and when i come to I am in so much pain that I am sceaming. I am usually admited with my blood and cell counts way off and they keep me a day and then say they could not figure out what I had or why but they treated with ABX in my IV and my counts returned to within normal and they send me home.
This has been happening for years and I really work in my digestion and making sure it is as normal as it can be and I take achidopholus and anything I need to keep it normal..
But it gets me..
Any suggestions.. or comments.

How often and are they any other symptoms? Sweating, fever etc?
Blood in the stool?
Stomach bleed (which can have bacterial origin)?
were is the pain?
Have they done any imaging tests?

This used to happen to me a lot, usually with projectile vomiting, diarrhea and excruciating pain.

I would end up in the er via ambulance and they would give me morphine, antibiotics and send me home in a day or 2.

They never figured it out. But I did.

I was loaded with parasites and worms which most Lyme patients have. Check out www.lymephotos.com

This is EXACTLY what came pouring out of me after I started to tx myself with herbs and salt/c protocol.

That is when things started to turn around for me.

Hope this helps,

Gael

This happens to me every year. the symptoms are abrupt and usually in the middle of the night. Extreme Pain in the abdomen.
I had Ultra Sound and X Rays done. I do not think there was blood in stool that I can remember. The pain is worse than having a baby and comes in waves of sever cramping of the stomach and abdomen area. After about 12 hours then I would have severe diarrea like crazy. But that does not make the pain go away. The morphine and Antibiotics only helped and though they still never gave me any diagnosis even though I tell them I keep coming back for the same reason over and over..
I would really like to know what it is.. The next post says they think they know so I will readthat one next
Thanks for your questions and concerns.

Gale.. How long have you been on that protocol and how do you know that they are exactly what came pouring out of you? ? Just curious. What was the Herxing like and how long and what symptoms? Was it different than the antibiotic therapy herx reaction?? I am just more curious about all this and it sounds like you went through exactly what i did.
Please let me know more if you have time.

Hi Deb,

I know because I saw these creatures in the toilet. Some of them were 8 & 10" long.( I know it's really gross.)

I was on some very strong herbs for about 6 months.

The herbs saved my life, but as soon as I started doing the salt/c (about 2 days)all of these parasites and worms came pouring out of me.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Other people on lymenet have reported the same thing.

The salt (sea salt) puts them into osmotic shock. I started the protocol very slowly with 1/4 tsp sea salt and 1/4tsp of ester c with bioflavinoids.

I DRANK LOTS OF WATER ALSO. Salt is a natural bacteriocide and has been used for thousands of years as such.

The parasitologist that developed this protocol says it can take between 2 & 5 yrs to get rid of.

It just makes sense that this is what is occurring with Lyme disease.

Does this help you?,

Gael

Well maybe.?? I am thinking about it. It makes sense.
How long did you stay on it and it only took a couple days to see this happen?? WOWzers..
Kinda scary.
But needed I am sure..
I may try this but.. .. just trying to find out what to expect.
I read there are herx affects too and during this holiday I can not herx . I even stoped all meds for now so I can function some..
So that might be helpful to know too.
Thank you so much

Chronic fatigue syndrome

In September 2007, a study published in the Journal of Clinical Pathology reported that acute respiratory or gastrointestinal infections associated with enterovirus may be a factor in chronic fatigue syndrome. The California-based study showed a statistically significant portion of the chronic fatigue study group tested positive for a viral protein compared to the control group.[5]

Sounds like a very good option for the culprat
I will remember this and write it down and ask about it next time.!! For sure. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
