I have been very ill since Sunday night. Vomiting again for hours. Fever of 101.7 .. normal is 97.
Heart rate was 137 yesterday.......today only 90. [with meds]
Soo... that's where I am .. in bed.
Kidney infection, most likely. Am taking Zithromax and my fever has broken.
Any and all prayers accepted.

Ouch ouch tutu.
Sorry to hear you've been in bed... sick. I heard you were actually UNDER the bed (where most turkeys are hiding these days)... but if you say you are IN the bed... I'll accept that.
Hope you will be feeling fit as a fiddle soon. When YOU feel bad.. we ALL feel bad.

Hey TuTu,
So sorry you are so sick, and my prayers are with you. Hopefully the Zith will knock this stubborn kidney infection out! If it doesn't try Flagyl...that was the only abx that worked for mine. I hope you start feeling better soon and keep us posted.

I was wondering where you were. Thanks for letting us know.
Hope you are checking in with your LLMD about all these problems over the past few months just to make sure that they are not related to lyme or some co-infection.
Hope you feel better very soon.

When I said to watch your kidneys closely after the sodium phosphate prep I should also have mentioned to do low salt in diet for awhile and be careful of infection. After I did four days of salt/c with such adverse effects I felt kidneys were vulnerable to infection (an intuitive body sense) and took a ****load of cranberry caps from eclectic institute for weeks. Your kidneys are still weak from that prep my suggestion is tissue cell salts and cranberry caps and low salt and lots of purifying nourishing foods like hot homemade chicken broth with good veggies and green juices with parsley. Your kidneys need nourishment. Good luck.

Thanks, oxygen. I agree, they screwed up my kidneys. Thanks for the suggestions. Now to implement them.
Hi Kathy B!
Still not eating much, not sure if I'll be going to the college or not. Gotta get DRESSED in order to do things like that! A big chore right now.
Ten bites of turkey doesn't excite me right now. Potatoes almost sound good.
Y'all eat for me today, OK?!
Happy Turkey Day!

Just read your message......so sorry TuTU.
Truth is, if ya didn't eat much, ya didn't miss much.
I overate to sickness (and Turkey isn't even my favorite), and believe it or not...the dishes still aren't done. Gotta go down and push another dishwasher load.
You'll make it up the next holiday.
I agree with the Flagyl. Toxic stuff but worked for my UTI.
Get those meds down for feeling better.
Big Hugs

For you, when it rains, it POURS!!! My goodness, one thing after another after ANOTHER!!!
Poor thing, I ate for you yesterday! But it really wasn't THAT good. I couldn't eat sugar, and I didn't have turkey or gravy because I am a vegetarian.
Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. If you don't have any Christmas movies, have hubby rent some. Watch It's a Wonderful Life and Miracle on 34th St (the original version). Those movies always cheer me up around the holidays.

I'm feeling better today. A local Lymie here saved me. He gave me more zith. I was to take my last 250mg on Friday, but since he found out I was ill on Thursday night he said hubby could come over and get more zith Friday.
So I took an extra Zith Thurs night. I think the problem was that doc only gave me 250mg per DAY for the kidney infection. {get real, man}
The only day I felt better was the day I had taken 2 pills in the Z Pack.
So... got plenty now and and took 500mg Friday and today. Feeling better. Actually ate some real food today. Hope it stays down.
My poor husband played piano all day at a buffet and then had to go out to eat by himself on Thursday! They didn't offer him any food at the buffet and he didn't want to ask.
They always "forget" to feed the musicians. I guess they think they don't get hungry after playing for 5+ hrs.
Feelfit... I'm so glad Papa is always there for us. Whew!
