I'm pretty sure any licensed MD can order a PICC line. Insurance paying is another story, it has to go through pre-approval, etc. Since Chronic Lyme "doesn't exist"...it's a bit difficult sometimes. You can still get one and pay out of pocket though.

your LLMD can order picc line placement and the IV antibiotics.
have everything arranged before you travel. make sure ins. filed if need pre-auth, where you need to go to have this done (hospital as outpatient)
the other issue would be filling antibiotic in states if LLMD is ordering MD if you live in canada. seems like need to make sure you have that worked out and see if company will ship IV meds and supplies to you in canada for further needs.
