Deer actually do not carry Lyme. They are immune to it. Ticks just use them to feed.

sutherngrl - I think they DO carry it, but are immune to it... so even though it's in their body, it does not make them noticably ill.

That makes sense! I just remember reading the part about them being immune to the illness.
