Passing this on...

--------------------

Thought I'd pass on some research regarding the use of
electromagnetic therapies for Lyme disease.

Admittedly there is not much objective evidence that electromagnetic
therapies have antibacterial effects. Recently a dental surgeon began
studying this (William Nordquist, DMD, BS, MS, Implant Dentistry of
San Diego, CA, http://www.niceteeth.tv ). He observed that the "Doug
Coil Machine" stunned spirochetes in vitro. Here is the video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZv4GUeKuPI

Of course, merely stunning the bacteria is not the same as having
antibacterial qualities. Yet, this video was created with a treatment
regimen that was not optimized or even well planned - this was the
first attempt. Other videos will hopefully be forthcoming. Just the
fact that any effect is possible and has been recorded, is a huge
step forward in this area of research.

Other scientific evidence includes the well studied principle that
electromagnetic frequencies can destroy biofilms and hence weaken
bacterial colonies. See:

I have been researching electromagnetic therapies for Lyme disease
for 4 years and have heard many anectdotal reports of benefit.
However, I thought it was worth sharing some of the science, too.

Here is another interesting electromagnetic, thermal and Rife based frequency treatment for cancer. We are not advanced enough to have these in the U.S.

If electromagnetic therapies can treat or cure Lyme, perhaps they caused Lyme to begin with?

If it could cure old age would that mean that it caused it also?

I was working on some electrical wires last week and shocked myself really good with 110V. No kidding my lyme symptoms are much better,

Some people hit by lightning have had resolution to long standing health problems.

Sick people in poor countries will grab an electric fence and occasionally it helps.

Bacteria can be electrocuted but it is hard to do it without electrocuting the host also.

I hope your one jolt killed all of the Lyme. But I know how tough this bacteria is.

Scott,

Remembering basic physics....even the Bionic 880 therapy(biophoton), is part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Visible light is from 400 to 700 nanometers in wavelengths.

So electromagnetic therapies appear to be an important piece to overcoming Lyme. Certain wavelengths are for killing Lyme/disrupting biofilms, other wavelengths or energizing our systems, bionic 880, for example.

Rife (alternating fields) appear to doing 3 things at the same time: 1) Killing/weakening Lyme bacteria by damaging the cell wall(when Lyme is in the spirochete form), 2) disrupting biofilms which protect Lyme bacteria from antibiotics, and 3) causing cation (Ca/Ma)outflows from the cells, which weaken the bacteria.

I think we often forget about the big picture on how we use the various tools we have at our disposal. We need to be using both AC and DC approaches in the therapy. Using DC light techniques to strengthen our immune systems and AC (rife) techniques to weaken the Lyme bacteria.

Thanks, that makes for a concise take-away conclusion.

Funk - who will finance a study ?

Change must begin somewhere and often it cannot be measured with current methods.

Results are what are needed, not, IMO, making one feel comfortable.

What frequency were they using...432 Hz?

Very odd frequency...to say the least.

"In ancient times instruments were tuned to 432hz and the music played was in tune and harmony with nature, people and nature were much more closely connected, so what happened ?"

Go here:

Does music (specific sound waves) effect life forms?

Looks like we need to get back in balance with nature.

There was someone on this website several months ago whose child (with lyme) was given electroshock therapy (I think for very deep depression).

Of course, that does not begin to compare to a "mere" 110 volts - 6OHz.

Google the CALF and then find the occurrences of 60Hz (110volts)...the U.S. electrical supply.

It might have helped a LITTLE with some germs. Likely not much.

We do use electric "shock" therapies for other things too:

http://www.bio-medicine.org/medicine-news/Shock-it-to-Heal-21-21-281-1/

http://www.healthyplace.com/Communities/Depression/ect/news/popular.asp

One "big" shock is a lot different than repeated small electrical "shocks"/impulses (pacemakers, etc.)

About using "electricity" to destroy pathogens:

"Ali Demirci, an associate professor of agricultural and biological engineering at Pennsylvania State University, is investigating the use of ozone, supercritical carbon dioxide, electrolyzed oxidizing water and pulsed UV-light to decontaminate foods and ensure products are safe.

Other emerging technologies include irradiation, high hydrostatic pressure,

***pulsed electric field***

and ohmic heating.

"Employing nonthermal ways to destroy pathogens allows us to decontaminate food without damaging the products," he stated in describing his work."
