well i just stopped the samento, biaxin, everything.

I woke up last night with excruciating pain under my right rib. felt like muscle spasms but deep inside. I thought "oh no, ER time". i got up and walked the floor the pain was so bad.

so this morning -- diahhrea!!! I couldn't stop going...finally it's 5 pm and i think i'm done...

i don't know what's happening. a samento herx, biaxin herx, another c. difficile episode, crap....whatever...

i have my appt with the llmd tomorrow at 3. i'm so sick i don't want to drive the hour or so to get there but i have to....

i feel like curling up and dying...i really do. i hurt under my ribs so bad.

and yes, i do have broken ribs...three to be exact...just what i needed to hear this week.

3 broken ribs
torn cruciate ligament in knee
torn tendon around the ankle.

that fall really knocked me on my butt physically...i'm still feeling like a mac truck ran over me.

but i don't think the diahhrea is related to the fall. i think it's somehow connected to the samento....

but right now, dying sounds good.....

Im so sorry Randibear. I hope you are feeling better by the time you read this. Im jsut starting to feel better from a Zith and omni herx, after not being on any treatment for a year. It sucks. Hard to get through, I know! But you will. Just remember to take a break when your body says you need one!

I'm so sorry you're going through this.

I know what you're going through. I have been there. The herxes where I thought I was going to die... are definitely scary.

Definitely ask your LLMD about the diarrhea...

((randibear))

Sorry you are going through so much pain.

Do you still have your gallbladder? It is under your right rib and can cause diareaha.

Definetely tell your dr about the pain and diareahea. I hope you start to fee better soon. [group hug]

Feel better soon! The Samento is an alcohol extract. It may cause a problem if you have yeast or fungus. Some people put the drops in nearly boiling water to burn the alcohol off before they drink it.

I don't know about the abx.

Best wishes to you to get through this.

So Sorry Ranidbear, Pain sucks!! Diarrhea can be a symptom of dieoff.

That's what I get a lot when i am herxing. Remember the body is trying to get rid of something, whether it's pathogens or something like the alcohol.

I used to get horrific pain with projectile vomiting and diarrhea ,until I attacked these parasites which can sit in the small intestine. Hope you feel better, Gael

Hey Randi,

I'm late to this, but I do hope you're feeling better today. Keep us posted on what the good doc says this afternoon.

What if you don't herx? Mostly I have experienced symptoms getting worse at times...so could this be herx? For example, my arm will hurt terribly, worse than ever before as it does now!!!! Could be a herx?

<<<<< Randibear >>>>>,

I am so glad that you got this all checked, I did think that soemthing was up w/ the ribs.

Did they wrap your ribs? How about ankle and knee? I'll keep prayin' Sweet Lady!

I hadn't seen this post 'til late lastnight as I couldn't get into Lyme net from Tue eve 'til late wed. Morning... can't tell if its LymeNet or our Local ISP?!

Oops Brain-drain moment, I do hope the diahreah has stopped, that can weara aperson slap out. ANd I always wondered about it being a herx symptom.

I cannot use Biaxin at all, becuase of severe diahreah issues when on it...
