Can you take biaxin with milk and dairy products? Nothing on the internet says that you can't, but my pharmacist said that I should not take the biaxin with milk or dairy products, which I have been.
I know that you can't take doxy with milk. I am confused.
Any help will be appreciated.

i have been taking biaxin xl with mepron and milk for months now. My llmd recommended drinking milk as the fatty food that makes mepron work. My babesia is much better, so i don't think it made the biaxin less effective. But everyone is different

I was on Biaxin and Mepron for a year and never heard that. Doxy is the only abx I am aware of that you need to avoid dairy, but of course there could be others.

Thanks for the help. I just called a different pharmacy and they said it should be no problem.
