I still get symptoms- I have maybe 1-2 weeks that are decent and then for 2 weeks it's bad- usually around my cycle.
How could the results say positive with Igenx and not be? It was a cdc positive results also..

Getting reliable test results from Quest for Lyme is a shot in the dark at best.
I only showed 41k band from Quest which they called negative. I tested positive on many bands from Igenex.
I would ask your doctor for the lab test results from Quest to see if any bands at all came up.
Also Lyme is a clinical dx and you are symptomatic and positive with Igenex. Do you have LLMD? Hope this help clarify,

The blood tests for Lyme are absolute crap, and a negative means nothing. Search around here for some confirmatory studies recently published by Johns Hopkins (an institution which has been in all absolutely horrible for the Lyme community.)

If you have symptoms and were diagnosed by an LLMD then you should treat fully.
Stopping medication will only prolong the amount of treatment time and could come back with a full vengance.
My LLMD says she will treat me based on symptoms not TEST results. Both my IGENEX tests were technically CDC negative(they had bands IND), my first labcorp CDC positive.
And, she said I must be symptom free for 2 months and preferably have a CD 57 count at 120.

"With most infections, your immune system first forms IgM antibodies, then in about 2 to 4 weeks, you see IgG antibodies. In some infections, IgG antibodies may be detectable for years.
Because Borrelia burgdorferi is a chronic persistent infection that may last for decades, you would think patients with chronic symptoms would have positive IgG Western blots.
But actually, more IgM blots are positive in chronic borreliosis than IgG. Every time Borrelia burgdorferi reproduces itself, it may stimulate the immune system to form new IgM antibodies.
Some patients have both IgG and IgM blots positive. But if either the IgG or IgM blot is positive, overall it is a positive result.
Response to antibiotics is the same if either is positive, or both."

Lyme testing does not always tell the story. I had Quest 1 band IgG, Igenex 3 band IgG & 2 indet., treated w/ IV, off for 2 mos, now have 5 band IgG, 2 IgM w/ high BB antibody this is Labcorp I believe.
Timing of infection, state of immunity at time of testing, abx in system, and labs themselves all make differential results.
I believe in tests but also need to consider symptoms, lifestyle/risk to exposure etc...
