I went to my pain doctor who treats me for "fibromyalgia" pain and I was sitting in the waiting room and picked up a magazine called "Fibromyalgia Aware".

I was reading through it thinking what a shame it is that so many people with Lyme go misdiagnosed with this disorder of unknown origin.

To my surprise I turned the page and at the top a headline said "Lyme Diseaes: The Great Imitator"! I couldn't believe it! In a fibromyalgia magazine they are talking about how Lyme disease is overlooked and often undiagnosed!

They did bring up the fact that long term antibiotics are necessary to treat chronic Lyme but stated long-term treatment as "several months".

Anyway, it can be found in Fibromyalgia Aware, Winter 2008 VOL.18.
