This may sound crazy, but I tried to take an epsom salt bath tonight because I've been having a bad couple of days. About 10 minutes in, and for about 10 minutes afterwards, my entire body was pulsating like crazy.

I tried to stay in but I felt all dizzy and lightheaded and this pulsing was so freaking me out so I had to get out!

Does this happen to anyone else?

The first time I took an epsom salt bath,

I had fireworks going off in my eyes! [Eek!]

Brightly colored flashing lights.

I had to drain the tub and get assistance in getting out.

It scared me.

I think the warmth of the bath along with the epsom salt triggered it for me.

So, you are not alone.

Hugs,

Geneal

In the beginning of my illness, I could not endure an epsom salt bath. My symptoms are joint pain and while soaking, I would feel great. 20 mins later, I would be in agonizing pain.

Consider that the reason was toxins. The baths were pulling toxins around in my body, but my body was unable to eliminate them, so I just incurred more symptoms.

The solution is to find a doctor well trained in toxicity and nutritional healing. A medical doctor who practices CAM medicine. It is very dangerous to attempt to detoxify yourself. If you pull toxins too fast, you could do permanent damage. My doctor told me early on to stay out of a sauna. I was so toxic and my body so poor at eliminating the toxins, she said I could end up in the ER or a psych ward, depending on where my toxins moved in my body.

We have been detoxifying me for 2 yrs and still working on it. I got significant relief right away and by 6 mths was able to return to work. For the past year I have been pretty much painfree. So it hasn't been 2 yrs of agonizing pain, but the detoxing does have to be done slowly, correctly to be safe. Also, we have been killing bacteria. A little killing followed by a lot of detoxing.

This will probably mean a 2nd doctor added to your team unless your LLMD has training in this area. This type of doctor will work on eliminating your toxins which are being created by bugs, drugs, toxic food, environment.

Your system is overwhelmed by the toxins and most of your symptoms are coming from the toxins. It is as important to detoxify as it is to kill bugs.

Today I can soak in an epsom salt bath as long and as often as I wish. My doctor says FIR saunas are in my near future. I will want to do whatever I can to be sure I never get this toxic again.
