So I have been treating for 3 months now and I had my coinfection test back in Oct. but never got the results back on my second visit.

I don't have another appt. until January and I am going to see a naturopath who asked that I get my blood work.

I am positive for lyme--which I knew--but Igenex says

IGM 23-25+; 34 and 39 IND; 41+++; 58+; 66+; 83-93+

IGG 28+; 31, 34, and 39 all IND, 41 ++++, and 58 +

My coinfection test from Fry is strange. There seems to be a picture on there that I can't really see in the fax.

At the note at the bottom it reads: Moderate coccobacilli adherent to erythocytes indicated by arrow(s). This is suggestive of hemobartonella or mycoplasma.

Do I have these? One of these?

I think I read bart is extremely hard to get rid of and myco is the worst case scenario for lyme patients.

I sort of thought I had bart because lately the soles of my feet have been in pain and burning. I also have really terrible anxiety.

I'm also wondering why there is no babesia test here.

My LLMD had me start mepron and arteminisin because he thought I had babesia but I honestly didn't think so.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

I'm really depressed.

anyone? I really need some words of encouragement here that this will be okay.

I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Lar08,
I am not sure I can be much help, but I wanted you to know you are on the right tract. Bartonella in my opinion, is a hidden epidemic, like Lyme Disease.

Your Fry test has a common finding. The organism they saw hemobartonella , suggests a form of Bartonella. There are many forms, and probably alot more that havent been discovered, or identified yet. Its only my opinion, but I would treat for Bartonella, if I was in your shoes.

You also have symptoms to back up your test findings.

You should call your LLMD for some reassurance.

I also think you are in good hands if you are seeing a LLMD. You are doing exactly what you should be doing, getting the right tests, seeing a LLMD, asking questions, researching your illness.Good job getting copies of ALL your tests.

How are you feeling? Do any of your doctors offer any help with the anxiety?

Keep up the good work. It will help you get well.

Everyone here knows how you feel, so never feel like you are alone.

Wish I could help more,my brain is blocked. I just wanted you feel comforted that someone hears you.

I also found out that my bilirubin is high and my hematocrit is too low. Anyone know what this means?

I think the hematocrit is low due to the babesia.

All I can help you with is the Lyme test results and you don't need any help there! The hematocrit is related to babesia. Triple whammy for you.

Call and ask them about the babesia test. Did they run one??

Hey Lars,

Well, you know you have lyme. The hemobart/mycoplasma result from Fry is a yet to be identified bacteria.

I tested positive for it too, as have several others here. It looks like Bartonella treatment is the best shot we have at this thus far. Lots of new info coming down the pipes....look for posts about Clongen, Fry, or Mystery Bug.

The Fry blood smear is supposed to test for both Bart and Babesia. Evidently Babesia was not seen if they did not report it...doesn't mean that you don't have it though, it is all a clinical diagnosis.....err crap shoot, whatever.

Anyways, don't get too worried. It is what it is, try to keep positive and keep up with treatment.

Best,
Feelfit
