Just now, I started feeling weird in my eyes. I got back from lunch and looked at my computer screen and its flashing and it's white in places and dark in others. I am kinda worried cuz I haven't felt this before. I had my manager come look and he said it wasn't doing that and looks fine to him. Are my eyes okay? It feels like they are vibrating in my head. I can see words okay. I can see everything okay. It's just this flashy, vibration, color changing weirdness.

A visit to your eye doctor is in order! NOW.

Flashes of light can indicate a potentially serious problem...need to rule it out.

Floaters are also very common with lyme.

Ongoing systemic inflammation is very damaging to the nerves and blood vessels in the eyes, especially.

It can be dealt with, corrected.

I'm going to tell you a "worse case"...my sister had lyme induced uveitis.

At one point in time, all she could see was the big "E" on the chart and she was, of course, scared to death.

She HAD to resort to steroid shots (twice) directly into her eyes to halt the damage. This was done by a *uveitis specialist* at a major mid-west university hospital.

She said it wasn't as bad as it sounds.

The shots worked. Her eyesight was SAVED (except for a tiny area of permanent damage).

That was after many other tries with many other things as she started out with very dry eyes.

This maybe the only time when one absolutely MUST resort to locally used steroids.

From a practical standpoint...take brief computer breaks and be sure you blink often (we tend not to when at the computer)-> eyes too dry.

I have found that being low in B12 can do this too. When this happens to me, I drink or eat something high in B12 and it helps it subside.

Just another thought.

"A migraine aura usually occurs about 20 minutes before head pain begins and generally lasts from 10 to 25 minutes before disappearing. Rarely, aura may occur with no headache. This is referred to as a migraine equivalent."

I never got a headache or migraine and I am very familiar with both. This disturbance has been going on for 8 and a half hours and I took a break from the computer for 6 of those hours. Now returning I notice it's still there and I am on a different computer! I ran my glasses under super hot water to clean them of all smudges completely. No help. This is so weird!

Oh no! Don't scare me like that. Can't it just be a nuero symptom? I still have it today. I was really hoping that it would have been gone when I woke up this morning!

Try sublingual B6. Source Naturals makes this. It is P5P. It is not expensive and can be ordered thru Amazon. Follow the bottle directions.

Last night sub B6 stopped my son's seizure (and he also has a hx. of migraines and much more..very complicated).

B6 helps maintain the Na-K balance. B6 works in conjunction with Mg.

He became very diaphoretic first...as his body used his largest organ (skin) to eliminate excess water in an attempt to drive his Na level up.

Excess water can -> hyponatremia.

We need Na, but Bb wants to drive it OUT of the cell because then in goes glucose and amino acids.
