I believe Clongen has better equipment than Fry, but you do not get a photo of your smear and it is a bit more expensive. Clongen does use PCR testing for bartonella and I think Fry just does the antibody test.

Hi There

I have only used Fry labs and feel confident with the tests.

He now believes that there is a new bug that he has been seeing and has named it something like

ProteobacteriaRheumatica

There will be some new information soon coming out in article form and there is a group and most on here looking for more information.

I see him.. and he has diagnosed me with it.

If you follow some of the other threads on the mystery bug you will learn about it.

D.

Hope you find what your hoping for.

DebAZ,

First LLMD just did standard lyme test then after 8-9 months of going nowhere I tested positive titer of 1.20 Babs WA-1

Thought is was time to see new Doc tested for Mycoplasma and CPn = positive also thyroid antibodies....CIDP

As of now I am on IVIg only. Don't know how many docs I'm suppose to see to get tested for these bugs. I'd like to get the hole panel since I am into it this far. What would that entail???

What protocol is working best for you?

Well.. Hi there.
I am not so clear on what your trying to accomplish
But.. If you have a lyme doctor .... they should be able to test for everything you want... .. Lyme and the co infections and such.

But the thing is that person usually should know which labs to go to for each and should offer you those choices when ordering the tests...

I would use one doctor to gather all the information but you need a good doctor.

Do you have one??

IF not? maybe you need to find one... or worst case ..

i could help you with the list of tests I have done and who has done them and you could ask for your doctor to send out for them?? Not sure though again.. what your goal is.

I would use Dr. Fry.. but I am familiar with him and can offer a full panel ... including: Do you want more than the below?

Lyme- Western blot
Babesia Microti
CCP (3rd Gen)
Ehrlichia
Anaplasma
Febrile Agglutin Panel
Rckettsia
Q Fever
ANA
ASO
CRP
SED Rate
RF
DNA AB Double Stranded A
Teichoic Acid
Special Stains
Bartonella quintana and hensalae
Unofficially - Proteobacteria Rheumatica - on blood smear

I think that anything else such as virals items would need to
be sent to other labs.. and such.

I would really talk to you doctor in order to get the labs ordered and in order to have insurance coverage etc.

You can PM if you like .. if there is something more I can try to help you with.

SO far it is a full 6 months of Mepron/Zithromax in high dosages and Ketek that has been helping me.

Deb
