Just a quick question, is there any problem with combining a B-Complex tablet with antibiotics? Specifically Doxy and Flagyl? Reason I ask is because I completely ran out of room in my mid-morning pill compartment, and the only place left to fit it is in the abx one. How is that for a reason? Am I ok with combining those? Thx! -karen

I am not sure if taking them at the same time is okay or not (as I'm not on abx tx). Surely, others will soon come along with answer.
In the meantime, these two documents may shed some light on that:

I take my B-complex at the same time as my abx (Ceftin, azithromyacin, bactrim) with no problems. My LLMD hasn't ever warned against this, so I figure it's OK. (With the ever-present note that I am not a doctor.)

I do take my multivitamins and anything containing calcium or magnesium or iron 2 hours away from my abx, still wondering about B-vitamins though. And hopefully vitamin A is ok also, I take those with my abx. Anyone know for sure?

Do not take vitamins or acidophilis with abxs . Always wait 2or3 hrs after abxs.
