Robi, have you made any progress with Bicillin? I know a few that are on it continuously with no side effects.

I was on it 2 months and liked the convenience of the injections over orals. However, it didn't seem to do much for me in that brief span.

I found it to be a very easy med though--easily tolerated and supposedly better on the gut than the daily orals...

I think my LLMD is planning on keeping me on it for about a year - I started last spring (3 shots per week)

It has helped me tremendously and I am now "functioning", but I have a very comprehensive alternative program too in addition to the bicillin injections

I have learned the hard way though that w/out the antibiotics, I am one sick lady!

Bicillin should be taken for long periods. Its saturation is slow and takes a long time to build up in the system ti reach effectiveness.

I loved Bicillin.

I have been on bicillin since day one, 15 months now. IT is a great drug for layering other drugs.
I took levaquin, zith, valtrex, flagyl with it, it was so easy for my doc to add/substract meds while on bicillin.
I have 2 lumps in my butt though, and every time I see my llmd, he has to take out the lumps with a needls, since the lumps is the bicillin all clumped up. I have taken up to 5 shots a week, but now I take 2 to 3 shots a week, with penicllin oral tabs.
very slow drug though
