I am on Mepron and Azithromycin and my LLMD put me on Diflucan and it is too strong the dosage the LLMD put me on, TOO strong, so I stopped it and now ask on here what dosage do you all take or

did you take? I dont have the money to call the LLMD now, so want to see what others started at with Diflucan dosage and worked up.

I was put on 100mgs a day for 1 week, then if things were ok, 200mgs a day for 1-2 months.

Things are not ok, by the 5th day I was just near dead, I stopped it, and want to know what others started at and worked up to.

100mgs twice a week? then work up? I dont have the money to call the LLMD now, so asking here.

I think before the LLMD wanted me on 200mgs 1 times a week, I think that is what the LLMD said, then decided the higher dosage which

I cannot take. Anyone on 200mgs once a week? and work up?

Please let me know, I am also on Mepron and Azithromycin which I have been on for about 6 months, so the Diflucan is what is making me sick from too high dosage, it is not something

I can push through, need to reduce dosage.

Thanks,

Trish

Trish, I was on diflucan 100 mg 2X and it caused profound fatigue due to the die-off. Also there should be detoxing while on the stuff especially things to protect the liver such as milk thisle.
Your LLMD may know of other things for detoxing as well.

It also might be worth asking your LLMD whether one-half a 100 mg tablet should be considered and then work up gradually.

You may also consider intermittent liver enzyme tests, if not done so, to see how the liver is faring.

My tests were initially done on a weekly basis and indicated that I could tolerate the 200 mg quite well. Also the LLMD indicated no abx during the time on diflucan.

Hope this helps
