This product was recommended to me to aid with digestion issues and overall health. I tried a small bottle.
I put 1/2 tsp on my tongue and nearly puked. The term bitter doesn't do it justice. I felt like my tongue was literally going to melt. DISGUSTING!!
The bottle says you can mix it in with juice or herbal tea. However, it doesn't say this is the only way to take it. One would think you could easily just swallow a tsp of it.
Anyone know of this product? Thoughts? I was told it's a staple supplement in everyone's medicine cabinet in Europe it's so popular. I wonder if I was fed a line of BS considering the recommendation came from the practicioner who did my Quantum EPFX bio-feedback session. lol. This is coming from someone who told me not to eat bottom feeding fish like shrimp because they eat other fish's poop.

I have usede it for years. I have only used it externally though. It draws out toxins.
I have never taken it internally though. It supposedly is for internal use also though. The American diet lacks the bitter herbs that are very good for us. It propaply tastes worse for us because we don't eat many bitter things.

Gail,
How do you use the product externally? Do you feel it presents a danger internally?
For such a supposed well-known product, I can't find ONE webpage with any customer reviews.
I am used to lots of spicy, pungeunt foods. I don't know why the taste shocked my tongue so much. I wonder if I could do myself serious harm if I ingested some in a curp of fruit juice or tea? Did you not do it out of fear?
