Was it prescribed for Lyme or Bart?
What dose are you taking? Any side effects?

[hi] Their,

I have always been treated for Lyme & Bart. My Lyme MD had me on Cipro., the side effects were horrid for me.

It was right before Christmas so I just went to Urgent Care. I stared on 1000 mg a day, the urgent care MD put me on 2,000 a day which is really high.the only SX I have from the med is I am tired at times.

Some people get a rough stomach ache with it but I didn't.

I have had 3 1/2 weeks of Gent., Vanco about 4 weeks, 5 months of Rocephin. Several tablets for lyme and Bart.as well. But the erythromycin seems to have helped the earing ringing, lymph nodes, and sore throat that I have had on and off for years.

How come we don't hear about this one very often? What are the brand names of it?

Roz, are you taking it with anything else?

Hi Everyone,

Erythromycin, is really helping my Bart.DX it does not help with LYME to my knowledge.

My LLMD has put me on Erythromycin EC.

I am getting better.

I do take oil of oregano, Uva Ursi, and Garlic in between, Just depending on what my lymph system can handle.

Much Love, Roz xxx

I took erythro for 2-3 weeks last year for an infected tooth.. I was totally symptom free for 2 months after that. The first time in 11 years.. When I tried again this year, I didn't have any noticeable improvement.
