Could someone please list for me the 3 types of Vitamin D testing needed for Lymies. I have done a search, but could not come up with the answer. Thanks!

Here is some info I just found while looking for you
This looks like it is regarding the Marshall Protocol I guess it depends on your doctors beliefs and views.
However, if you want to use your financial resources most efficiently, another strategy might be to skip individual tests for bacteria and instead test for vitamin D metabolites. The two vitamin D metabolites that need to be measured are 1,25 D and 25 D, and for accurate results, you must use a lab that freezes the samples for transport (for more information, see http://members.aol.com/SynergyHN/vitd or http://sarcinfo.com). The ratio of 1,25 D to 25 D are used in the Marshall Protocol (MP) to indicate the level of inflammation occurring due to infection by CWD bacteria, which include Borrelia burgdorferi, as well as many other species of bacteria.

There are three forms in the Vit. D cycle through the body, cholecalciferol, 25 hydroxy cholecalciferol, and 1,25 di-hydroxy vitamin D.
The first is not tested for, as it is usually converted by the liver into the second form almost as quickly as it enters the blood compartment. The general thinking is that the 25 OH-D is the one to test for as it represents the available pool, or reserve, and the 1,25 is usually only tested if there is a compelling reason, like some inflammatory states or kidney disease.
Many supplements use a fungally derived cholecalciferol like substance known as ergocalciferol, or D2, which doesn't work as well as cholecalciferol, but some labs test for it when testing for 25 OH D, and the result might look like:
25-OH D2:17 25-OH D3:22 Total 25 OH D:39 When the 1,25 is tested for, it does not distinguish whether it is ergo or chole.

Like some inflammatory states? I wouldn't think anyone in this support group would have inflammation???? Well, that's according to the duck group.
