I have been taking Mepron for 3 months and I feel like it is not doing much. The Zith is giving me horrible heart issues such as tachycardia and left sided chest pains, even on baby doses.
I think I want to switch to Malarone to avoid the Zith. I have heard from a few people who have taken it and they said there were no side effects and they had great results with it.
What is the recommended dosage? My friend took 2 tablets, 4 times a day for 6 months.
Also, what ABX other than Zith or Biaxin could I take with Malarone to work on the Lyme at the same time? Would Bactrim DS be an option?
Thank you!

I take 2 malarone twice daily.
I only weigh about 105lbs though.
I think the highest recommended dosage is 2 pills, 3 x a day.
I would call my LLMD and ask.
I did biaxin with malarone and bactrim ds.

Malarone 250 per day, Zithromax 250 per day and Flagly 1000 per day.
I only have been on this combination of 2 weeks, however very little impact. I occassionally double up to see if I can trigger a bit of a herx, still nothing.
From my readings, it appears that the standard malorone dosage is 750 or 1000 per day with 500 mg of zithromax. I plan to talk to my LLMD to see we can up the dosage.
In my case, I may also not have babs as I do not have all of the classic symptoms. I may be dealing with Bart instead.
Good luck
