I started using cat's claw and another antioxidant formula and changed my diet. Have been doing this for about 1 month. All of a sudden on My torso, thighs, and arms, tiny pin prick sized dots started appearing. They do not itch at all. I stopped taking the herbs to see if they would go away and sure enough they did. They are very tiny, slightly raised, do not itch, and are scattered around. Almost look like real tiny pimples. Anyone know???? If I had digi cam I would show pics. Ive had no luck finding something similar, but will keep looking....

There are tons of posts about these. They can be a couple of things: petechiae or cherry angiomas.
Could be something other than either of these though, but what you've described sounds like one of those.

Yea, I did a search and noticed most put petechiae or cherry angiomas as the culprit, but would Cat's Claw and and Source Naturals Renewal Antioxidants cause these???

I'm sure they could cause them... but as to why -- I have no idea. Maybe the toxins in your body brought them out... or maybe you are slightly allergic to them? I'd call your LLMD and let him/her know and ask him/her what he thought about the herbs bringing out the red dots on your skin.

I have heard of these dots before and my wife has had them lately using a homeopathic remedy called Spiro.
Some people think the dots are related to Babesia die off. I really do not know what they are, but they have not been an allergic reaction with the people I know that have had them.
My best guess is Babesia die off, as this is the first time we have really seriously treated for Babs. It is a protozoa and not a bacteria, so who knows what kind of side effect killing it has?
