Would 250 mg Zithromax twice a day be better than 500 mg once a day? I'm asking because I read that antibiotics need to be at a consistent level in the blood throughout the day.

The Zithromax was prescribed with Plaquenil 200 mg twice a day

Once a day will keep the levels up. I am taking 600 mg every day since sept. and have done find.

Zithromax has a 72 hour half life....once a day is fine...since it builds up in your system if you take it daily.
