I've got this new thing in the past month or so (I've been doing less walking since going on disability)

What is this stiffness and achiness?

why does this happpen? Does this happen to anyone else. It just aches in my legs all over, in my hips as well.

This is the Lyme symptom that got my attention and started my personal "Lyme Walk" from one doctor to another, one Rx to another, one Dx to another - and finally Lyme. I also had a terrible Neuralgia (tremors) going on in my legs. How long have you been on Abx?
For me the pain is gone as long as I'm on Abx. (6 mos. of treatment) but has sometimes flared up in a foot or elbow, back - I think as part of Herxing. Only thing that gets me through those rough patches is Vicodin.
Sorry I could not offer help, but I think it will resolve eventually with Abx treatment. Talk to your LLMD about it.
Best Wishes

The leg pain wasn't one of my inital symptoms but after 5 months antibiotics, I have it now. In fact, the concentration and memory and leg pains are my only remaining symptoms.

Everything from the waist down hurts. I wonder if it isn't lymph nodes.

I don't know anything for sure but just wanted to pipe in and let you know you aren't alone!.

My legs bother me as well from time to time.

Someyimes it's achiness, sometimes it's a sensation of someone pinching deep in the muscles.

Most times, though, I feel like my legs are rubbery and weak.

Don't know what causes it, but you're not alone.

Count me in. I walked my dog religously for 8 years thru all kinds of weather because she lived for it.

But my legs ache and my lower back hurts so much I had to quit.

Support hose do help with the swelling and edema.

Thank goodness my husband took over for me.

I hope hope hope this goes away eventually!

As we all say, I want my life BACK!

jamieL,

You said you have leg pain and you wonder if it isn't lymph nodes? Interesting b/c My legs/hips are killing me and my lymph nodes in my groin area are painful and swollen.

Would this make my legs hurt? I wouldn't have guessed so. Also wondering if the swollen, painful lymph nodes are anything to worry about? This has happened to me on and off through my whole illness.

I've been on doxy since july basically, and doxy/cipro/flagyl since september.

I never had this leg cramping/pain/achiness sensation until this past month or so.... I stopped working Nov 30th and I realized it then. Its very bad when I haven't moved aroudn for a while or when I wake up in the morning and can also be in my arms.
