I was down with what I think was a stomach bug for the past 2 1/2 days--the worst stomach pain I've had since being in labor, the worst diarrhea I've ever had (sorry TMI) and just generally being achy and miserable. [puke]

The bug symptoms seem to be gone today, but I'm so weak I can hardly walk. My legs are shaky and feel rubbery when I stand.

My chest feels tight and spasm-y, and I'm short of breath.

When I get up I feel lightheaded and off-balance.

I know I was dehydrated at one point with this, but I spent yesterday just pushing as much liquid and Pedialyte as I could stand till my urine was clear again.

Anyone else ever have this kind of feeling after being sick?

Sorry you're sick. Yes, it's normal to feel bad after an illness when you have Lyme. Since you were so sick, I think you might have even felt bad afterward even if you didn't have lyme.

Get lots of rest, drink some chicken broth.

Just got back from the grocery store--maybe I shouldn't have gone tonight, but I NEEDED time away from my kids. Sorry if that sounds terrible...

I feel like I'm having a heart attack/panic attack, something.

I had the exact same issue exactly 2 weeks ago, when I was at Christmas Eve service. I was sick with a sinus infection then and had just started antibiotics.

Oh, I hope this isn't going to start happeneng every 2 weeks!

I honestly cannot imagine how gut wrenching and difficult it would be if I had small children at home with this stinking disease.

My heart goes out to you.
