I've never had a problem with sweating.. until last week.
I starting waking up in the middle of the night because I'm so hot and sweating. I also go from being hot to really really cold. It's like my temperature is all over the place.
I'm just wondering if I should call my dr. and let him know. At my last phone conference he was thinking of taking me off of abx in a couple months. My symptoms were diminishing... but now this started.. ugh!!!
What do ya'll think. Could it be babesia.. or a herx? I'm confused. Oh and I was tested through Lab Corp and all co-infections were negative, but I know that probably doesn't mean anything.

My labs thru LabCorp for coinfections were neg as well. Night sweats? Could you be peri-menopausal or heading that way..hormonal I mean?
The recent threads on babesia have been extremely helpful, do check them out and good luck, keep us posted pls!

There was a recent thread on this topic, but I can't seem to locate it. Maybe some of the other women will also respond.
Anyway, night sweats could be hormonal. Any female 35 and older, perimenopause likelihood increases. Talk to your doctor. There are some straight forward blood tests to evaluate this if needed. I guess thyroid and other hormone regulators can also go haywire.
Meanwhile, when you wake up with the heat, try uncovering just your feet and maybe the back of your head. This way you may be able to avoid getting "over cooled/chilled" by rapidly evaporating sweat if you uncover your entire body. (This advice is courtesy of my older sister and mom. )
