I had to get somebody else to register in the hope of finding out WHY I appear to be BANNED?
I wrote to Jennifer twice but got no reply, hence this post.
I can't for the life of me think of any reason for such an action on the part of the moderators. It might be a mistake, if so could you let me know and could I be allowed to post again?
Thanks
Nelly

I emailed Lou B and asked why your banned? It might take a while for answer.

I cannot ever see a reason the ban an authentic LD patient from here aside from publishing doctors names, cussing and fighting.
It is the internet-you can be who you want to be and if people do not realize that-they are NOT smart.

It may be a mistake as when they clear off bugs they sometimes by accident wipe your IP address off it happened to me once and was an accident
Sorry, my mistake. I was updating the list of banned IP addresses last night (we get a lot of Forum Spammers with IP's that originate in Europe) and I made a "typo" which banned all IP's starting with 82.2**.***.***
I corrected it ... try again, it will work just fine. Any problems, please email me. Jenifer was away from 1/7 until today hence no email response from her.
Take care,

nelly,
a suggestion for you since you found it was on YOUR END this happened, to just DELETE this post since you were NOT BANNED.
just click on pencil, go to top left corner, and click DELETE POST, hit enter, and it's gone.

Yes, that's right.
All has been sorted out, but Betty, it didn't really "happen at my end" my IP address had been confused with some spammers' addresses.
Anyway, all sorted out now and sorry I had to air this publically, but I wasn't getting a reply from the moderator I had written to.
Thanks to Charly, to treepatrol and to Lou for sorting this out.
This thread might be of use if it were to happen to someone else. So that they know they haven't necessarily been chucked out from Lymenet for no reason.
