IV Vanco was a wonder drug for me! I didn't have very strong side effects; I did have redman syndrome, but it got better with subsequent infusions.
It was the first drug I saw any improvement with. I believe it helped my overall pain, headaches, little of my mental clarity, and a little of my stamina/weakness. Ideally I would have stayed on it longer, but due to liver enzyme spikes, I had to quit. When I stopped the symptoms did return, but to a lesser degree than before I got on it.
Good luck!

Hubby just went off it last week. He had plateaued on it after 9 weeks so they switched him to IV Doxy. But it really improved his neck pain. He has alot more good days than bad now. He always took 25mg benedryl one hour before and never once had red man syndrome. The infusion was always a good 2 hrs also, making less chance of red man and allergic reactions.

It helped my brain issues 1000 percent. My memory was better than I ever knew it could be. It helped body and neck pains, basically all my Lyme symptoms. Best drug I did. Did t or about 6 months. Wish I had stayed on it longer. Brain stuff has creeped back but it took almost 2 years to come backl.
