I think it's a warped view that the word on Lyme is getting out now. I worked with 60+ intelligent, highly educated individuals in a medical-related business. Do you know how many of those co-workers can relate or have any idea about Lyme and co-infections? ZERO.
I think we're chasing pipe dreams and are too much in a lyme-tunnel at times.

Shelly, I think it's great when people know, and if they don't, let's educate them!

I think as the numbers of people diagnosed grow,
So does the word.
I am responsible through my diagnosis and speaking to others,
For 7 neighbors to be tested and diagnosed with Lyme.
Five of those 7 were CDC positive both IgM and IgG.
I don't hide my Lyme.
I welcome questions and the curious.
Local support groups are also very important in spreading the word.
Hugs,
Geneal

I don't think we really need Dr. Oz, Oprah, or Maury Povich for that matter romanticizing lyme disease. We just need more good old fashion scholarly research that is published in credible medical journals.
