I am thinking of going to hope4cancer in Mexico and was wondering if anyone knows about this place.
I have had shoulder pain since Sep and can hadly move my arm. Did an MRI and they showed it was very inflammation...so guess what I did..Cortisone shot. I couldn't help it the pain has really got to me.
24hrs later my arm is no better.
This desease really is driving me crazy.
Is ther a Florida web group? Cn't seem to find one.

People seeking doctors might be able to get help from their state online information and support group. Nearly 3,400 people belong to state groups. Some of the groups are small but more than 20 of them have 50 or more people and seven have over 100.
The groups are moderated and you have to apply. Most don't allow doctor names, but once on the group, you can ask for doctors in a certain area and ask people to email you privately. *******************************************

Interesting you mentioned your shoulder, atheana. There is a new article out identifying an acute shoulder condition, Parsonage-Turner syndrome, with Lyme:

This part of the abstract of the article you linked to is also VERY interesting:
"Antibiotic therapy ensured a favorable outcome in all 4 cases. Two patients achieved a full recovery within 6 months."
Does that sound to any of you like they used antibiotic therapy for as long as 6 months in those 2 cases, until symptoms subsided?
It would seem this indicates that they treated the symptom as if it was the result of a chronic active infection of the neurologic system, with long-term antibiotic therapy.
